Simon Hague / Partner

Twenty-four years of experience in travel, procurement and expense management. Simon has held senior leadership positions within global travel management companies based in EMEA and Asia-Pacific and gained valuable experience of supporting numerous global travel programs across multiple industries. In 2000 Simon joined a global banking & financial services company accountable for travel and procurement. Simon successfully developed the travel program in Asia Pacific, consolidating suppliers, establishing management reporting, governance & controls (policy management, automated pre-trip approval etc.), enhanced service, managed risk, implemented process enhancement (e.g. leveraged an online booking tool to offshore fulfilment to a low cost service centre in India) and delivered significant savings over twelve years. Simon has practical hands on experience working from the perspectives of the supplier and the buyer and is able to leverage this to deliver value to HN’s clients.

Simon has been working with multi business conglomerates to optimize value from cross leveraging consolidated spend as well as firms from the consulting, hospitality, property and banking industries. He has managed a number of recent RFP’s and negotiations with airlines, hotels and travel management companies and currently advises a number of global and regional travel managers to help them develop program strategy, overcome roadblocks and optimise their programs.

Robert Norman / Partner

Twenty years of procurement, travel, and expense management experience, from the perspectives of both the supplier and buyer. With expertise in global travel agency, airline, hotel and ground transportation procurement, expense and policy management, online technology, and travel reporting.

Robert, originally from the UK, has worked across multiple markets in Europe, the Americas, Asia and Australasia. With extensive experience in pharmaceutical, banking, technology, oil & gas, shipping and manufacturing industries, he is well positioned to support your business in achieving its goals. Significant ROI has recently been made by global companies from the Insurance, Legal and Banking sectors by engaging HN Consulting to assist with completing detailed reviews of travel & expense policies, travel supplier contracts and their overall travel management programs.

Brian Taylor

Brian Taylor / Director, Global Technology Manager

With over 20 years of experience in the travel industry, based in the UK, Brian brings with him a wealth of travel operations and technology knowledge with a detailed understanding of how each area of a fully managed travel program works successfully. Brian joined HN Consulting in 2014 working on projects from building and delivering custom online booking solutions to automating processes through the use of robotics and automated QC technologies.

Before joining HN Consulting, Brian was the Global Travel Technology Manager for a large multinational investment bank. This role included the global deployment of a leading edge travel platform, standardization of booking process and channels as well as linking internal bank and external supplier systems across multiple regions. He then provided support and training to resources based in EMEA, NAM and APAC. In addition, with Brian’s strong and detailed project management skills he played a key role in the delivery of a major off-shoring project to consolidate booking fulfilment into a service centre in India and designed a full robotics solution for all EMEA and APAC markets.

Starting his career with one of the major corporate travel management companies provided exposure to a wide spectrum of different global corporate travel programs across multiple industry sectors which Brian has been able to leverage throughout his career.

Debbie Willocks / Executive Consultant

An expert in the area of travel management and operations, having started her career in travel working for some of the strongest travel management companies in Europe and Asia, before moving onto the corporate procurement side. Leading large operations teams, gaining a wealth of experience across the areas of supplier contracts, terms & conditions, service delivery, technology, BCP and offshoring.

Deborah has worked across multiple markets in Europe, Australasia and Asia, most recently has regional head of travel for two large US banks. Her project management skills, detailed approach and positive energy will help your company achieve its travel & expense management goals.

Andy Chung / Senior Analyst & MIS Specialist

An experienced analyst and management information data specialist. Andy has worked for major travel management companies as well as in the procurement division of major financial services firms, delivering analysis, data interpretation and reporting that allows companies to manage their procurement spend more effectively and to make more informed decisions during the RFP and contract negotiation process. His experience and knowledge will provide unique solutions to our client’s overall procurement, travel and expense management spend.

Andy obtained Finance & Micro Economics degrees in the United States and is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Stephen Marcon / Executive Consultant

Stephen joined us having spent nearly 30 years in Equity Sales and having worked for many major investment banks. Originally from the UK, he has lived in London, Bangkok, Tokyo and Hong Kong and started covering Asia at Vickers da Costa (later bought by Citigroup) in 1986. He has built franchises & client bases from inception, specialized in both Asian and Japanese markets and has established strong relationships with a significant number of Chief Investment Officers and CEO’s in the region. He is focused, driven and regards integrity and ethics highly. As the latest member of our team, we hope that Stephen will help develop our client base across the region and make a significant contribution to our growing organisation.
